As each birthday approaches, I always contact Jen from Little Dahlias Photography with my idea for the session. For Amelia’s, I was extremely indecisive and sent her approximately 25 different ideas and asked if she could make it look nice. As always, she knocked it out of the park!! As an artist and photographer myself, I had a certain vision for how I wanted my family portraits to look. Jen helped me with suggestions for locations, wardrobe, and everything I would need to do on my end to make the photos exactly what I wanted. On the day of the session, Jen was full of ideas and was able to work calmly and easily with me, my husband, our teenager, and our four dogs to get some really spectacular photos. I couldn’t be happier with the results. I also have some body image insecurities, and Jen was able to help me look my best from wardrobe selection all the way to final retouching and printing.
